We are looking for individuals interested in the art of gardening. Applicants should have experience in horticulture with pleasant etiquette. You will responsible for looking after beds and borders for commercial and domestic clients portraying your trade with enthusiasm.

Builder (new on)

Builder with broad knowledge of all tasks associated with the building industry. The successfull applicant will be confronted by various building repairs. Plastering and Carpentry skills are a bonus.

Garage Foreman

Job Objectives
Employee is responsible for overseeing repairs to all County equipment and various structures. Garage Foreman reports to the Supervisor(s) of the Highway Agency.
Essential Job Functions
Organizes and supervises garage operations
Schedules service and repair of all equipment owned by Nocheese Limited.
Performs repair work on other County offices' auto fleet
Performs repairs to equipment personally
Develops and implements preventive maintenance program
Supervises parts inventory and purchasing
Writes specifications for all new equipment
Performs all building repairs for Highway Department

Meets with vendors to oversee actual building of new trucks for Highway Department

Highway Maintenance Worker

Job Objective
Maintenance Worker operates trucks and highway equipment while maintaining County roads, road sides, and signs.
This position reports to Department Manager/Supervisory personnel.
Essential Job Functions
Includes operating specialized equipment needed to complete mowing tasks such repairs.
Performs roadside maintenance duties such as mowing and trimming, litter and trash pickup, cleaning and re-shaping ditches and inspecting/cleaning/replacing minor drainage structures.
Report signs and supports needing replacement or repair.
Inspects roadways and roadsides identifying where work is required.
Assists with maintaining traffic control and establishing work-site traffic control and flagging.
Operates and maintains snow and ice removal equipment.
Operates and maintains small and large equipment including dump and pick-up trucks, tractors with all attachment, front-end loaders, graders, and chipper.
Operates hand equipment such as (but not limited to) post drivers, chain saws, string trimmers, and small hand tools.
Completes required paperwork such as time sheets, scale tickets, completing complaint sheets and road sign maps.

Mechanics' Helper

Job Objective
Mechanics' Helper maintains Purchase Order numbers and assists in performing repair functions on highway equipment
The position reports to Workshop Supervisor.

Performs minor maintenance, such as oil filter, oil changes, and lubricating vehicles, and equipment as needed.

Phones vendors checking on delivery of parts ordered.
Non-Essential Functions
Performs daily housekeeping duties
Operates all moving vehicles to load and unload repair bays

Secretary

Job Objectives
Secretary is responsible for the performance of standardized tasks in data entry, duties related to the accounting cycle and secretarial duties.
Position holder reports to the Co-Supervisor responsible for the office functions.
Essential Job Functions
Process daily time tickets recording total weight and materials used and man/vehicle hours into correct activity codes
Enters total hours/miles/fuel/oil usage into daily cost file on computer
Answers phone and greets visitors and transfers them to the supervisor they wish to see
Composes/types letters, forms, miscellaneous items, envelopes, etc.
Maintains current updated list of parts in stockroom and enters records of repairs and/or parts and supplies used on Repair Records File
Enters and records driveway/utilities and other permits issued by the Highway Department
Maintains "Requests for Action" received daily for work to be done or action to be taken
Non-Essential Functions
Maintains file of photos taken by supervisors of accidents, vandalism, and miscellaneous photos

Work is performed in a modern office environment with no unusual physical demands or requirements.
Work may require lifting of files up to 25kg.
Secretary can be exposed to dirt when going to the garage or maintenance repair shop.
